Today, the tree was put up. The sisters spent an hour hanging all the ornaments and jamming to their favorite Christmas tunes. When they were done, they stepped back and took a long hard look at their completed masterpiece.
"Wow, it's absolutely incredible," Julie said with awe.
"WAIT!" Kanani practically screamed.
"What?" Paige jumped.
"We forgot the tree topper," explained Kanani.
"Why don't you put it up since you remembered it," Sara suggested.
"Good idea," agreed Miranda.
Kanani put the star up on the tree, and everyone stepped back again.
"WAIT!" Sara yelled.
Paige mumbled, "Not again..."
"We need to turn on the lights!" Sara plugged the cord into the outlet and turned the lights on.
The girls stepped back one last time and admired their finished work of art.
"Wooowwww..." they all said in unison.
